The alleged Viking boat in the grounds of The Railway Inn gets a mention on youtube:

I took this photo the other morning when there was a fair bit of mist around – you couldn’t see much of Meols from the bottom of Hoyle Road.

The strong winds were whipping the sand up along the beach when I stopped in the car to take this (not greatest quality) photo.
